From one-and-half to two bighas of flood-protected high land is appropriate to start a nursery business. Sandy or loamy soil is appropriate for producing plants. There should be arrangement for watering.  For one-and-half to two bighas of land three to four trucks of soil have to mix with cowdung and keep them under polythene cover for a month. Before that some good-quality parent plants have to be selected. They are sown in a tub or seedbed to produce plants with necessary grafting, cutting or layering. The plants have to be kept in polythene bag. The most appropriate time for starting a nursery is rainy season. If someone wants he can start it on his rooftop.

Luxurious people are main customer of a nursery.

There should be deluxe mentality for it. For practical knowledge one can take short training for three days to one month from the horticulture department of Bangladesh Agriculture University
