| Preparation Method: | First of all a field has to be prepared to cultivate grape. Mixing 75 per cent loamy soil, 20 per cent rotten cow dung, two per cent rotten oil-cake, 100gm urea, 500gm TSP, and 400gm MP they are kept for 15 days before the field becomes ready for planting trees. April-May is the high time for plantation. After collecting plants from government horticulture or nursery department they have to be planted in rows. If the tree goes 50cm higher after reaching the bamboo dais it has to be cut off. After 15-20 days it has to be cut off again. If cut off in January the production goes higher. The fruits have to be collected after 120 to 130 days from flowering. The fruits will be sweeter if 20gp potash fertilizers, mixing with one liter water, can be sprayed one month before they are ripe. |
